After a bikini wax, you should avoid hot showers, baths, saunas, swimming pools, tight clothing, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours to allow your skin to calm down. Skip exfoliation for the first 48 hours, then resume gentle exfoliation two to three times per week to prevent ingrown hairs. Avoid tanning and sun exposure for 24 to 48 hours as well.
