Bikini waxing services available in Wilkes-Barre include Bikini Line, Bikini Full, and Brazilian waxing. Bikini Line removes hair along the sides and top for a clean swimsuit or panty line. Bikini Full removes more hair from the front with customizable coverage. A Brazilian removes nearly all hair from the front to back. All services at our Wilkes-Barre center are fully customizable based on your comfort level and preference.

A bikini wax typically lasts three to four weeks, though this varies depending on your individual hair growth cycle. With regular bikini waxing appointments every three to four weeks, you'll notice hair growing back softer, finer, and more slowly over time. Maintaining a consistent waxing schedule helps you stay smoother for longer periods.

At European Wax Center, we use Comfort Wax that's designed to be gentle on sensitive skin while effectively removing hair from the root. Bikini waxing can cause some discomfort, but most guests find it much more tolerable than expected. Your first bikini wax may feel more sensitive, but discomfort decreases significantly with regular appointments as your hair becomes finer and sparser. To prepare for a bikini wax, let your hair grow to about a quarter-inch long (roughly the length of a grain of rice) so the wax can grip effectively. Gently exfoliate the bikini area 24 to 48 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin cells and help prevent ingrown hairs. Avoid applying lotions, oils, or creams on the day of your service, and wear loose-fitting clothing to stay comfortable afterward.

After a bikini wax, you should avoid hot showers, baths, saunas, swimming pools, tight clothing, and strenuous exercise for 24 hours to allow your skin to calm down. Skip exfoliation for the first 48 hours, then resume gentle exfoliation two to three times per week to prevent ingrown hairs. Avoid tanning and sun exposure for 24 to 48 hours as well. Your wax specialist will provide personalized aftercare recommendations based on your skin's needs.
